Surrounding areas

The World Heritage Site of Ironbridge lies a short distance from Broseley, across the river Severn, and is a popular tourist attraction. Visitors are able to see the Iron Bridge which was constructed in 1779 and spans the beautiful Severn Gorge, and to appreciate the history of the region and enjoy the tea shops and café’s. Ironbridge and it’s surrounding area is home to several museums, many of which are suitable for enjoyable family days out.

Much Wenlock is just a short drive from Broseley and offers a wealth of charm and history, along with modern amenities including the William Brookes Secondary School and Sixth Form College which also incorporates a swimming pool and leisure centre.
